eh was the capital of the Himalayan realm of Ladakh, now the Leh District in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India (Leh District, with an area of 45,110 km2, is the second largest district in the country - after Kutch, Gujarat - in terms of area). The town is still conquered by the now ruined Leh Palace, previous mansion of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the similar style and about the similar time as the Potala Palace.

Since you are arriving at 11000 ft., we strongly recommend taking complete rest & drink ample water on the first day where you should not indulge yourself in any strenuous activity. Rest of the day is free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will start our journey to Pangong through Khardungla, which is the World's highest motor able road at 18,832 feet above sea level. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records. En route visit Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colorful trees in this region later in the evening reach Pangong. Dinner and Overnight stay at the camp.
